Why are you are missing the state of Oregon?

The time is February 14, 1859 and the beautiful state of Oregon becomes the 33rd state in our great nation, and for some reason the state attorney general won't allow us to run our sweepstakes there. Sorry about that but if you are the winner, you need to be a resident of any state, except Oregon. We truly are sorry for this.

Can I pick what car to put my entry in?

Once you enter the giveaway and have a ticket number, that ticket number is good for all 36 cars. You cannot select what car you would like to win.

When does the giveaway end?

April 30th, 2020 at 12:00pm pacific time is the last day to get your entires in. The drawing will take place at an independent auditors firm on or about 14 days later.

How many tickets will there be?

This is not a raffle, this is a sweepstakes so you may enter via donation or free method as many times as you would like. There is no limit to the amount of tickets someone can get. There will be 36 winners, and anyone with a ticket can win. The odds of winning is 1 divided by the total number of entires received. You got to be in it to win it though. - Good Luck!

Am I missing a ticket?

So you just made a tax deductible donation to NGEF and you have some tickets into the Corvette Heroes drawing. You check your certificate and you see the numbers of your tickets shown in a range, you subtract the numbers and your math shows you are short one ticket number. However you have to keep in mind that these numbers are inclusive, so if you just subtract the numbers you are missing out on the very first number in the range. You have to use the old algebra function of (n+1) to get the true result of your ticket donation. Trust me your math teacher will be happy you remembered this.
Here is an example, you donated and got 20 tickets and your certificate shows the range ending in 50 through 69. If you subtract those numbers you think you only have 19 tickets. Because you are not counting the first ticket, using math only shows you the difference between the numbers, not the inclusivity of each of the numbers. If you then put in the algebra formula of (n+1) you will see that you have 20 tickets.
On a smaller scale if you donated and got 5 tickets and your range was 1 through 5, you would see if you subtract the two you get 4. If you actually count the ticket range you will see its 5 tickets.
It gets ever weirder looking when you get 5 tickets and the ending range is 0-4. I know, Mind Blowing. but you have to count the 0 as the first number in the range. Other crazy examples (10-19 = 10 tickets) (550-649 = 100 tickets) and so on.
Trust me you are not alone on this one, I feel your pain. But trust us, you have the right amount of tickets in your range if you count the first one as a number and don't just subtract. We have even had people write down all their ticket numbers in a counted list just to verify.
I hope this helps, I know there are many people who don't like to do math like myself, except when it's counting how many people are going to be envious when I bring home one of these 36 amazing corvettes.
Good Luck!

Do I have to make a donation to enter?

You do not have to make a donation to enter the Corvette Heroes sweepstakes. Although doing so helps the National Guard Educational Foundation and their amazing work, while giving you a tax deduction. But it's not mandatory at all. Check out the official rules under Section 4 How To Enter (sub section iv Free Method.)

Can you accept donations outside the US?

We love people from other countries and we would like to be able to take donations from other locations, however the timing of these registrations in these locations would not have been done in time. We might be able to open up some certain countries as we move through this giveaway. Stay tuned.
